May be you don't know but both me and Diego has been eating on the floor with our coffee table for 6 months! when there's guest come over for lunch or dinner, we borrowed Leslie foldable outdoor table and stools, cover with a nice piece of cloth. We always want to get a dining set with a reasonably price. After 6 months active searching all around, my friend recommend me to go Casey Auctions Group to have a look. All their furnitures are either new, near new or second hand. 2 weeks ago we went there and want to bid on dining set for the price not above $500, however we do not even have a chance to raise our hand ><", the opening price for that set is $500 and someone get it for $590. Yesterday we go to auction place again and try our luck, D said: since you can bid on $0.99 for outdoor umbrella at ebay, may be the bid luck is with you!! so i give it a go, there's two same dining set, set 1 is number 79, set 2 is number 396. Till 11.30am, we only have the chance to bid on number 79, the opening price is $400, then $425, Diego raise hand for $450, someone raise again for $460, D raise again $470, someone raise again for $480, as we considering weather or not to continue for the bid, the hammer had gone down!! the closing price for set 1 dining is $490. well... we tot we have no luck, off we go for lunch, went back home for a rest and thinking to go there again at 2pm. 1.40pm, we drive down to Casey Auctions Group again and waited for 45mins, is set 2 dining turn, number 396. This set is not as nice as the first set because there's some scratches but overall i give it a 7/10. D let me have the card this time so I can bid this round. the opening price is $350, I raise my hand. one China man beside me raise his hand and price went up to $360, I raise again for $370, he raise again $380, I raise again for $390, he raise again for $395, I raise again for $400, and I can hear staffs and people around start "wuu ~~~ oh~~~" is fun to see this two people standing just beside each other bidding on the same thing. he raise again for $405, I look at D and he nod, so I raise my hand again for $410. I can see the China man shake his head and laugh. The hammer went down and I got the same set for $410. What a good price!! the previous person got it for $490 and I got it for $410. haha haha... The bidding experience is really exciting. I can hear my own heart beat and the courage to raise my hand up.
